Meet Kyle Teas
Kyle Teas | Founder, President of Eugene’s Gulf Coast Cuisine
To Kyle Teas, nothing is more important than the love of family, friends, and great food.
A third generation Houstonian, Kyle grew up living within a few blocks of both sets of grandparents, who lovingly instilled in him a passion for genuine Texas Gulf Coast cuisine. Traditional family meals often included local, fresh caught fish, steak and chicken coupled with vegetables harvested from his grandparent’s farm in Rosharon, Texas. To this day, one of Kyle’s fondest childhood memories is the distinct aroma of authentic Gulf Coast cuisine lingering in the air of his grandparents’ home.
In 2007, after a 25-year career in finance and real estate development, Kyle and a childhood friend saw an opportunity in the lack of real, authentic Gulf Coast cuisine Houston had to offer. With a hope, a prayer and the motivation to celebrate his family’s legacy, Danton’s Gulf Coast Seafood Kitchen was born.
Since then, Kyle, his beautiful wife Clare, and their three children have been dedicated to maintaining unparalleled standards in service, selection and preparation for over a decade. The Teas family and their team look forward to continuing this pledge at Eugene’s.
